Sevilla Erasmus does it again with a BRAND NEW, completely unique excursion, taking you to two of Andalucías best-kept secrets: the Petra of Andalucía & Torcal Day Trip.
First, take the morning to awe at what locals call the "Petra of Andalucía." El Coto de las Canteras is an ancient stone quarry dating back to the turdetano period in the 5th century BCE (pre-Roman). Today it has been restored and decorated with beautiful Iberian sculptures for visitors and events.
After that, we will head to the beautiful town of Antequera, known as the "heart of Andalucía," where we will enjoy some free time to see the sites and have lunch. And finally, in the afternoon we will explore the striking natural park of El Torcal de Antequera.
El Torcal is an unbelieveable karistic landscape, made up of limestone which has been in formation for the last 200 million years.
This trip is a perfect addition to your Erasmus or Study Abroad Experience!
