General Questions
Q. What size bag can I bring to the trip?
A. You may bring whichever size suitcase or travel bag that you like. There are no luggage restrictions. Q. How can I get a room with my friends? A. After purchasing a trip, you will receive an email with a link that will take you to our online form where you will have to fill out a questionnaire with basic information about yourself needed for the trip. In addition, there will be a question asking about your rooming preferences, where you can add the names of the people you want a room with. Q. How does the rooming work if I am travelling alone? A. After purchasing a trip, you will receive an email with a link that will take you to our online form where you will have to fill out basic information about yourself needed for the trip. In addition there will be a question asking about your rooming preferences, where you can add the names of the people you want a room with. If you are travelling alone you should select the option “Find me a roommate”. Also, if you need an individual room, there is an extra charge Q. If I don’t live in Seville, do I have to organize my own transportation there?
A. Yes, however our staff is here to help you and can advice in finding transportation to Seville. Q. Do you have other people travelling alone? A. Yes, usually on every trip we have some people travelling alone and it is very normal. On the trips you will meet plenty of new people. Q. What are the hotels like we will stay in? A. All of the accommodation in our trips is set in very nice 3 or 4 star hotels, where you can fully relax and enjoy your trip. Q. Which transport do you offer? A. Our trips are via comfortable private bus transport, which gives everyone a chance to get to know each other better. Each bus is coordinated by a We Love Spain staff member or a friend. |
Morocco
Q. Is Morocco safe to visit?
A. Your safety is our priority. Morocco is a country very open to tourists and very safe. Also, you will be constantly accompanied by our qualified and ready to help staff. During the walking tour of the marketplace in Tetuan, not only will you be accompanied by your guide and coordinator, but also the Tourism Police Department to make sure that no one is lost in the labyrinth of streets and that everything goes smoothly. In case of emergency we have evacuation plans, full medical insurance, and contact with the Spanish embassy at all times. Also, Spanish territory is one hour away, so no need to worry ! Travelling with professionals means travelling safely! Q. How’s the weather in Morocco? A. Weather in Morocco is similar to southern Spain. However it can be somewhat rainier. Q. Where can I exchange money for the trip? A. You do not need to exchange money before the trip. You will be able to exchange in Morocco in hotel receptions. You can also pay in Euro everywhere and in Dollars in some places. Q. What’s the currency in Morocco? A. The official currency in Morocco is the Dirham (Dh) and the difference is 1€=10Dh. So if you change 20€, you will get 200 Dirhams in return. Q. Is there a vegetarian menu available? A. Alternative meals are available in the hotels and restaurants. You must let your guide or the restaurant manager know at the beginning of the meal. Q. What should I pack for the Sahara trip? A. Bring warm clothes for the night in the desert because it gets very cold. Bring comfortable shoes because you will be walking a bit during tours, etc. If you get seasick, it is recommended to bring medicine with you for the ferry because sometimes it can be a bit rocky depending on the weather. Normally hotels provide soap but not a hair dryer, shampoo nor conditioner, so bring those if you need them. Q. Will my cell phone work in Morocco? A. World phones, blackberry’s and Iphones can receive calls as long as International roaming is enabled. Check with your service provider to avoid high fees and huge bills. Q. Do I need any vaccinations before visiting Morocco? A. No vaccinations are needed (or required) to visit Morocco. Q. Are there any clothing restrictions for Morocco? A. There are no restrictions on what type of clothing to wear in Morocco. It is completely accepted to wear more "Westernized" clothing such as shorts, sleevelesses, etc. You do not need to dress extra conservatively. Q. Can I drink tap water, is it safe? A. You cannot drink the tap water in Morocco. There is no problem however in showering, brushing teeth, or washing your face, etc. Q. What are the monkeys like in Gibraltar? A. Although wild animals, the monkeys in Gibraltar are very nice. However, it is still advised not to touch the monkeys as they may perceive it as an act of aggression or threat towards them. If the monkeys approach and touch you for example by jumping on your shoulder, you should still not touch them, just enjoy the moment, take a couple of pictures and wait for the monkey to go away. Certainly do not feed the monkeys. Q. Do I need my passport for Morocco? A. Most citizens of the European Union may travel with their ID card. The following EU citizens must travel with passport: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, UK, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.You must bring your physical passport or ID card (EU citizens only) with you.You may NOT enter Morocco with a photocopy. Q. How long does it take to get to Morocco? A. This depends on the departure city, but from Seville you get to Morocco in about 5-6 hrs, including the ferry crossing from Algeciras. Q. Do I need a visa for Morocco? A. You do not need a visa if you belong to one of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Congo (Rep. of), Cote d'Ivoire, Denmark, European Union, Finland, Guinea, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Korea (Rep. of), Kuwait, Libya, Liechtenstein, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Venezuela.
